It’s not safe to affix a mask to an infant or toddler, or someone who can’t remove the mask themselves. This mask may be used when FDA-cleared masks are unavailable. This mask is not recommended for use in a surgical setting, or where significant exposure to liquid bodily or other hazardous fluids may be expected.
